About

Hello! I'm Tyler, the creator of this page. I'm passionate about technology, research, and sharing knowledge. This website serves as a platform for me to showcase my work and interests. Below is some of my history and plans for the future

Undergraduate

I did my undergrad at Florida State University. During that time I worked multiple jobs to help pay for everything and strived to use CS in those jobs as much as possible. Whether it was a new inventory system or an ID checker I was and still am always curious!

After graduation

I graduated in December of 2023 and took a job as a sales engineer in St.Pete Florida. While there I made 120 calls a day always exceeding my KPI by 20% or more. I also strived to optimize our process. My main contribution was the large web scraper, Observer 1.0, that searched for "trigger events" on Linkedin, Facebook, and company newsletters to give us leads and know when to reach out. Ultimately this led to a 31% increase in sales-qualified leads and a 9% increase in held meetings.

Present

Currently I am a first-year graduate student at UCF pursuing my master's in computer vision. While excited to be back learning I have found a new passion: Language modeling and AI. My current goal is to join a Ph.D. program and work in a lab that focuses on many modern issues with AI and modeling. I have been diligently working to increase my knowledge through projects, classes, and certifications. I plan to continue to push and grow in my current program and hopefully a Ph.D. program by Fall 25'!
