Current Research

My current research focuses on AI technologies and their potential applications. Some of the areas I'm actively exploring include:

  • Building out a transformer model that can be trained on limited hardware
  • Creating a sentiment analysis dataset built off of LinkedIn
  • Analyzing datasets, such as OpenWebText, for biases

These projects are ongoing and evolving. Stay tuned for updates!

Past Research

One-shot Face Detection with Siamese Neural Network

I worked on recreating a state-of-the-art one-shot face detection system using a Siamese Neural Network architecture. This project involved deep learning techniques and computer vision algorithms to achieve accurate face detection with minimal training data.

Gym Assistant powered by OpenAI's API

Leveraging OpenAI's powerful API, I developed a Gym Assistant application. This AI-powered tool helps users create personalized workout plans, provides form corrections, and offers nutritional advice, enhancing the overall fitness experience.

Analysis of Modern Model Biases

I conducted an in-depth analysis of biases present in modern AI models. This research aimed to identify and quantify various types of biases, including gender, racial, and socioeconomic biases, to contribute to the development of fairer and more inclusive AI systems.

Research Interests

My research interests are diverse and interdisciplinary. Here are some areas that particularly fascinate me:

Resource Efficient AI Models
Understanding AI's Black Box
Tech & Environmental Sustainability
Expanding Societal AI Understanding
Open-source Software Development

I'm always open to collaborations and discussions in these areas. If you share similar interests or have ideas for potential research projects, feel free to reach out!

Teaching

I have both taught full classes as well as private tutoring and am hoping to be a graduate student instructor in the future

Tutored: Machine Learning, Intro to Python, Data Structures & Algorithms, Calculus 2, Intro to Computer Vision

Taught: Algebra, Computer Fundamentals, Geometry, Intro to Coding
